In April of this year, all the leading agencies in the stock photography buisness will meet at PICTAday 2022 on April 28th in Hamburg. This will be for the first time since 2019, that this important industry and customer networking event can take place again.

This Thursday the stock photography agency scene will present itself to picture buyers in Hamburg at PICTAday 2022 on Deck 10 in Kaispeicher B in Koreastraße 1 (see Google Maps) and naturally PantherMedia will be there right in the midst of everything! Our team will be ready to answer your questions and to present our latest highlights from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at table 32.

PICTAday 2022 – New website launch will be our focus
Our focus this year will be on the relaunch of our website with a significantly improved display of search results and a vast simplification of the download/purchase process. In addition, we would like to introduce our customers to highlights, like our huge range of images, huge range of videos, the exciting range of 360° images and the fascinating new synths as well as the visual benefits of our premium royalty-free range.

PICTADAY, WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
The PICTAday is an annual event of the Federal Association of Professional Image Providers (BVPA). It is intended as a meeting place between customers and image providers and has been held since 2003. Since 2010, the PICTAday has been organized under this name and takes place in different cities. Most recently in Munich and Berlin. After a two-year break due to the pandemic, it is finally back in Hamburg this year.
BVPA DEVELOPS INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND PROMOTES COPYRIGHT
The BVPA contributes to the development of industry standards and is an active promoter of copyright in the interest of its members. BVPA’s annual reference book on image usage fees published in cooperation with the MFM is highly regarded. The BVPA is also a member of the European umbrella organization of picture agencies, CEPIC, where at EU level member interests are represented in relevant legislative procedures.

BVPA SUPPORTS MEMBERS IN ALL POSSIBLE WAYS
The BVPA also supports its members in all matters related to technologies, tools and managing changes in the digital licensing market. This includes all visual media, from photos to cinemagraphs to videos and most recently to synths.

Every year, members, industry representatives and trade visitors meet for a one-day trade show. Here the latest findings, trends and expectations for the visual media market are discussed and shared. This year the meeting will be in Berlin and we are looking forward to being there with enthusiasm.

You will find it with the number 32 in the main room in the centre on the right side. By the way, Kaispeicher B is located directly on the Elbtorpromenade and can be easily reached via the Überseequartier or HafenCity Universität underground stations, which are served by U4, as well as via the Osakaallee or Shanghaiallee bus stops (line 111). By the way, the location looks great in photos. Incidentally, visiting PICTAday 2022 is free for picture buyers.
